It’s about a writer and his muse. So basically Richard Castle kills off the main character of his best selling novel & then he has writer’s block. Kate Beckett is a homicide detective, who became a cop to solve her mother’s murder.
There was a murder & the murderer was killing people the way Richard Castle killed the people in his crime novels. The NYPD asks Castle to help them with the case since obv. He knows his books better than everybody else.
LONG STORY SHORT, he helps tem in this one case where he partners with Kate Beckett & then he gets the mayor to allow him to follow Kate around for inspiration on his new book “Nikki Heat.” Kate hates it, Rick loves messing with her. Anyway, they become partners and he helps her solve cases , while she is his muse. But really they’re in love but neither will tell the other for a loooong time. Castle helps her get through her mom’s murder etc. anyway, I don’t wanna ruin it in case you do decide to watch it ;) IT’S EXTRMELY GOOD & FUNNY & HEARTWARMING & ROMANTIC & JUST AWESOME.
